the children
Portraits of children based on (old) photographs, pictures of the photos as well as of the children, with their various reactions to the camera and the whole photographic setup. The pictures have something to say about the ways adults package their children and about the pathos and drama of childhood at various times and in various places, identified in each case by the title of the picture.
